I had always wanted a German Shepherd, but couldn't find a consistent line that I liked. That was prior to my exposure to the world of Working German Shepherds.  Conto is from European lines and his drive and intensity are exactly what I was hoping for.  He'll repeat a job a hundred times and be just as happy doing it the hundredth time as he was the first time.  Conto LIVES to play.  He's a bit over the top in play drive so I just have to be careful who picks up a toy around him.  His drive is what carries him through in our USAR work.  If he thinks there's a toy involved, he'll jump off a 12 story building to get to it.  He has been an absolute JOY to work!
